GROTTOES, VA (Rocktown Now) — The town of Grottoes will be hosting a Kids Fish Day event on May 4.

The event is hosted by former Chief Charlie Lawhorne, 9am to 2pm at John E. Painter Park. There will be free food, AirCare 5 will be available to see, and prizes will be given out for the biggest catches.

There is no age restriction for kiddos.

Lawhorne Pond will be closed to the public today and will not reopen to the public until tomorrow at 3:30 pm.
