The right lane on Interstate 81 South between Exit 222 and 221 will close from 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, through 7 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7.

Construction began last week on improvements to motorist and pedestrian safety along Route 11 (Lee Highway) in Augusta County.

Officials say daytime operations will take place between Reservoir Street and Warwick Drive beginning Wednesday morning at 8 o’clock.

A section of Acorn Drive between Virginia Avenue/Route 42 and Liberty Street will be closed today.
