HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The City of Harrisonburg will close a drive aisle and some parking areas on the lower level of the Water Street Parking Deck beginning at 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19, for pavement replacement.

Parking areas adjacent to South Liberty Street (pictured above) will be closed for the duration of the work. The West Bruce Street entrance and the Water Street exit adjacent to those areas also will be closed.
The closures are expected to remain in place until paving is completed at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23. Motorists should plan to use other entrances and exits and allow additional time when parking downtown.
Parking permit holders will have the option to utilize 4-Hour parking spots at the Water Street Parking Deck, in addition to utilizing the Municipal Parking Lot and the Elizabeth Street Parking Deck if space is limited.
The schedule is subject to change based on weather and paving conditions. Any updates will be posted to the Public Works Facebook page.
