WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now) – All the City of Waynesboro wants for Christmas is some new sidewalks to improve pedestrian safety and accessibility along Lew DeWitt Boulevard.
Officials say contractors will begin installation of the new walkways next Monday, December 22nd from 8 to 5.
One lane of traffic will be closed during work hours with temporary traffic signs in place to guide drivers safely through the work zone.
Delays are possible.
The project is expected to be completed by Tuesday at 5pm.
