HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The James Madison University community is mourning the death of two students this week.

Alyssa Williams, a 19-year-old sophomore nursing major from Chester, died in a car accident late Monday night on Interstate 64 in Albemarle County.

Another sophomore, Anthony Lemus-Argueta, a finance major and Beta Theta Pi fraternity brother died Monday afternoon following a medical emergency.

The school stated in a campus-wide email that there are available health resources, including the JMU Counseling Center, emergency assistant services, and the employee assistance program.
