HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Rockingham Harrisonburg SPCA is partnering with PetSmart Charities to host three adoption events during National Adoption Week, July 20–26.

Community members can meet adoptable kittens, cats and dogs at PetSmart located at 1671 E. Market St. Harrisonburg, VA 22801.

Adoption Events

  • Tuesday, July 21 | 5:30–7 p.m.
    • Kittens galore, plus adoptable cats
  • Thursday, July 23 | 5:30–7 p.m.
    • Kittens galore, plus adoptable cats
  • Saturday, July 25 | 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
    • “Adopt Joy” dog adoption event

“Whether you are looking for a playful kitten, an affectionate adult cat or a new canine companion, National Adoption Week is a wonderful time to meet the animals waiting for families at RHSPCA,” said Sara Stone, Director of Development. “Every adoption creates space and resources for the next animal who needs our care.”
