RICHMOND, VA (Rocktown Now) – Governor Glenn Youngkin has ordered all U.S. and Virginia flags be flown at half-staff on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.

This order is in memory and respect of The Honorable John Alfred Cox, former member of the Virginia House of Delegates, who represented the 55th District from 2010 to 2014.

According to Youngkin’s order, Cox, “dedicated his life to serving his community and the Commonwealth.”

Flags will be lowered at sunrise and remain at half-staff until sunset.
