Students from three Staunton City schools are set to release Brook Trout into local waterways this month, marking the culmination of their participation in the Trout in the Classroom program. 

The program is to promote the removal of the non-native, invasive tree threatening local ecosystems.

The Arts Council of Valley has announced the allocation of $8,100 in Spring 2025 Advancing the Arts grant funding to support seven Harrisonburg-Rockingham area arts projects.
