Higher than usual intake of dogs coupled with many fosters heading out of town for spring break has the RHSPCA hosting a last-minute adoption special to find adoptive homes for dogs in order to create much needed space in the shelter.

The City of Harrisonburg is designing improvements to South Main Street in the vicinity of the Exit 243 interchange and extending to Mosby Road, that will include safety benefits and improve operations at intersections to reduce delay.

The public review of the draft will run until April 4, 2025.
