SHENANDOAH COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — UPDATE: SCSO reports the suspect has been taken into custody.

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office is requesting help from the public in locating an individual who is wanted.

Samuel Adam Murrey of Woodstock, VA, is wanted by Shenandoah County on a Felony Capias for Violating Probation of a Felony Offense. Murrey is also wanted by Rockingham County for a Felony Capias for Violating Probation of a Felony Offense, with underlying charges of Larceny. He is also wanted on 3 warrants for:

  • Possession of a Schedule I or II Controlled Substance
  • Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle
  • Driving without a License
