WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Waynesboro Education Farm (WEF) announced its
Annual WPS Plant Sale, a community-focused event offering a wide variety of locally grown
plants to benefit student agricultural and Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs.

The sale will take place over two days in early May at the Waynesboro Education Farm.

Event Schedule

The sale is split into two distinct sessions to accommodate different schedules:

  • Wednesday, May 6 | 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM: A Monthly Community Night featuring opportunities for families to work, eat, and shop together.
  • Saturday, May 9 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: An educational session where attendees can learn about the work being done through the WHS Ag Program.

Location

The event will be held at the Waynesboro Education Farm, located adjacent to Berkeley Glenn
Elementary at 1020 Jefferson Ave, Waynesboro, VA.

Plants for Sale

  • Fruits: Strawberries, Honeyberries, Gooseberries, Raspberries, and Blackberries.
  • Vegetables: Tomatoes, Hot & Sweet Peppers, Cucumbers, Watermelon, Cantaloupe, Eggplant, and Summer Squash.
  • Florals & Herbs: Hanging flower baskets, annual/perennial flowers, and a variety of herbs.
  • House Plants: A selection for indoor greenery.
  • Supporting Local Education

At this time, the WEF is able to accept cash, check, and credit card as forms of payment.
