SHENANDOAH COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — Shenandoah County authorities say they have located a Maurertown man who was wanted.

Sheriff Tim Carter says Wayne Allen Peck has been captured.

Peck was wanted on six charges, including four counts for abduction and two counts for assault and battery of a family member when Sheriff Tim Carter asked for the public’s help in locating him on Wednesday.

He was last seen around Route 211 heading into Page County and had made threats to harm law enforcement.

However, Carter stated last hour that Peck was captured and he thanked the public for their help.
