NORFOLK, Va. (JMU Athletics) – James Madison was held off the scoreboard Friday afternoon, falling to Old Dominion, 10-0, in eight innings at the Ellmer Family Baseball Complex in Sun Belt Conference baseball.
The Dues fell for the sixth consecutive game and dropped their record to 20-32 (10-19 Sun Belt), while the Monarchs improved to 29-24 (15-14 Sun Belt).
Freshman Keegan Haelser led the Dukes at the plate with a 2-for-3 performance that included a double. It is his first career multi-hit game.

The Monarchs struck first with a pair of runs on a bases-loaded hit by pitch and a fielder’s choice.
Fifth Inning
A grand slam capped a six-run inning for ODU to improve its lead to eight runs.
Eight Inning
With the bases loaded, a double from Zach Leite knocked in a pair of runs for the 10-0 run-rule win for ODU.
