HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Harrisonburg Public Utilities is currently responding to a water main leak on Evelyn Byrd Avenue in the area between Burgess Road and University Boulevard.

According to an online post, some customers in this area will experience water service impacts until repairs are made.

Impacts to traffic are expected in this stretch of Evelyn Byrd Avenue as work takes place.

Motorists are encouraged to find an alternate route.
