HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch until July 22, 2026, at 2:00 AM.

Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible in the following areas in Virginia, Albemarle, Augusta, Central Virginia Blue Ridge, Eastern Highland, Nelson, Rockingham and Western Highland.

Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
