RICHMOND, VA (Rocktown Now) — Governor Abigail Spanberger has issued a flag order for United States and Virginia flags to be flown at half-staff on Sunday, May 31, 2026.

She states that this is in memory and respect of the victims of the 2019 shooting at the Virginia Beach Municipal Center.

Flags should be lowered at sunrise on Sunday and remain at half-staff until noon.
