HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) – The Secret Lair Comics will host their Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) event on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

FCBD is an annual event put on by the comic book industry to grow readership and promote literacy. Along with giving out free comics there will be comic creator guests such as, illustrator Ben Harvey (One World Under Doom, Captain America, Reborn: Ultimate Impact, and more!). Additionally, the Staunton Wall Crawler (aka Staunton Spider-Man) will also be appearing.

This year’s charity is Staunton Spider-Man’s Food Drive. With a donation of $5.00 of non-perishable food goods or $5.00 cash donation, a family up to 4 can get 5 extra comics per person.
