The suspect accused of committing an armed robbery last month in Shenandoah County will remain in custody, at least for the time being.

According to online records, a bond hearing for 36-year-old Joshua Wayne Dellinger that was scheduled for Friday morning was continued until August 18th in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Sheriff Tim Carter said that deputies responded to a home on Elizabeth Lane near Edinburg on July 27th for reports of a robbery involving a gun. Shortly thereafter, a deputy stopped a vehicle that Dellinger was driving and apprehended him.

Incidentally, two passengers in that vehicle, Kyle Austin Cowart and Dallas Michael Fraley were also arrested on outstanding warrants.
