STAUNTON, VA (Rocktown Now) — The President of Mary Baldwin University is stepping down.

According to a statement from the Staunton university, Todd Telemaco has resigned for family and personal reasons and the board of trustees has accepted his resignation.

Telemaco took over as president of Mary Baldwin in August, and according to school officials, led a rigorous and candid assessment of the university’s financial position and long-term sustainability.

He has agreed to remain through June to continue leading the university.

One other note, the school announced that following additional review, four academic minors that were discontinued in October have been reinstated, along with four faculty lines.
