HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Republican incumbent Ben Cline is projected to win re-election in Virginia’s 6th Congressional District, defeating Democratic challenger Beth Macy in Tuesday’s general election.
Cline, who has represented the district in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2019, would secure another term following a campaign against Macy, a longtime journalist and author from Roanoke.
The Virginia Department of Elections reports that Cline received 55% of votes while Macy received 44%.
