The Valley is getting more representation in Richmond after Governor Glenn Youngkin’s latest round of board appointments.
In a Friday release, the governor announced that Susan Quaintance Ferguson, a lecturer at James Madison University, was appointed to the Virginia College Savings Board.
The newest member of the Virginia Board of Workforce Development is Shenandoah County resident Dr. Yolanda Shields – the founder of Yesbuilds and a faculty member at Shenandoah University.
And Gary P. Critzer, Emergency Management and E-M-S director for the City of Waynesboro, is one of four new appointees to the state’s E-9-1-1 Service Board.
