Gas prices in Virginia are up nearly five cents in the last week, averaging 3-35 per gallon today.

That is according to a GasBuddy survey of all commonwealth stations. Prices are over six cents higher than this time last month.

As of this morning, prices varied wildly across Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, from 3-09 to as much as 3-25/

Nationally, prices are unchanged in the last week, with gas averaging    3-50.

The national average price of diesel is down about one cent since last Monday to 3-79 per gallon.
