ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — The 18th edition of the Brent Berry Family Food Drive kicks off this week in Rockingham County with a new name.

Coordinator Bucky Berry says the outreach is now called the “Brent Berry Charitable Fund LLC Food Drive,” and that the new legal designation allows them to raise money throughout the year.

Folks can donate food or make a monetary donation to this year’s Food Drive beginning Monday, December 1, at noon at the Timberville Walmart through January 4th. Berry adds that the drive’s race car trailer will be clearly visible in front of the store.

Berry says this year’s goal is to raise 60-thousand dollars to benefit Salvation Army’s food pantries.
