West Virginia Governor Jim Justice is giving state workers a four-day holiday weekend.
Justice issued an executive order yesterday declaring that Monday will be an official holiday for all public employees of the mountain state.
He said in a news releast that it is immeasurably important to pause on Independence Day every year and remember all the freedoms that people have in this great country.
This will be the second four-day weekend for state workers in the past few weeks because of Juneteenth, followed by West Virginia Day.
