HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) – A Harrisonburg City School has earned a top honor in the Virginia School Boards Association’s “Exhibition of School Architecture” for 2025.
Rocktown High School and Grimm + Parker Architects have received the “Gold Design Award” for innovation in new construction, renovation, and adaptive reuse of existing spaces that encourages presentation, performance, and active learning.
Selected from nine entries submitted by eight architectural firms, Rocktown High School’s design will be showcased at the Virginia School Board Association’s Annual Convention in Williamsburg, November 19th through the 21st.
