HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Sentara RMH is once again conducting its Be an Angel Cancer Care Campaign.

The annual giving initiative allows people to participate by making a gift in honor or memory of a loved one to help elevate cancer care in the community.

This year, White Oak Lavender is involved in the campaign and owner Julia Haushalter explained this week on Early Mornings that they are going to match donations.

“We’re so excited for the opportunity to expand these kinds of services that are going to be available through this campaign for cancer patients in our area,” said Haushalter.

Gifts to this year’s campaign will benefit the newly established Twila Showalter Supportive Care Clinic, which provides expanded and new resources that include prevention and screening, treatment therapies as well as maintenance and recovery.
