UPDATE: (11/13/25) – According to the Sheriff’s Office, Michael Shane Floyd of Weyers Cave has been safely located.

AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance with locating a missing person who was last seen on Wednesday at his Weyers Cave residence and was reported missing today by a family member. 

Michael Shane Floyd is a 50-year-old white male who stands 6 feet 4 inches and weighs 240 pounds. 

He has brown hair and brown eyes. 

Michael could possibly be driving a 2018 charcoal grey Chevy Spark with Virginia tags UHA-1496.
