HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Harrisonburg Police remind residents that stealing yard signs is considered a larceny in Virginia.

As November nears and Election Day is around the corner, officials caution citizens to respect other people’s property and not steal or vandalize political signs around the city.

Authorities throughout the area have taken reports of political signs either being stolen or vandalized.
