HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Harrisonburg City School Board presented the Development of Campus Emergency Actions Plans during last night’s work session. 

According to the presentation, there are four phases of EAP which started back in Summer of 2024. The current phase is on-going with safety audits and reviews. 

Coordinator of Operations Kriss Vass explained, “This is a living document. It’s continuing to evolve even as we speak.”

Administrator Shawn Printz said partnering with the Harrisonburg Fire Department and Harrisonburg Police Department when doing drills could change plans.
