HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — It’s six months in prison for the Harrisonburg teenager who was arrested for tossing a large firework into a crowd.
According to online records, Grayson Hall Smith was sentenced last Friday to 10 years in prison with 9 of those years and 6 months suspended.
“This was an unnecessary and avoidable incident that resulted in permanent injuries for the victim,” said Harrisonburg Fire Department Battalion Chief Mike Armstrong at the time of his arrest.
Smith was also sentenced to 5 years supervised probation following his release.
