HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) – Court Square Theater (CST) hosts a bittersweet evening of bluegrass
Friday, April 11, when The Country Gentlemen Show plays its final concert with Dave Propst, who recently announced his retirement. One of the group’s founding members, Propst is widely known for his mandolin and vocal performances.

Part of the theater’s popular Bluegrass Series, the concert begins at 7:30 pm. Advance tickets, available at courtsquaretheater.org, are $25 ($35 at the door). CST’s Spring 2025 Bluegrass Series is sponsored by E & M Auto Paint and Supply & Axalta Coating Systems.

In addition to Propst, the lineup includes Mike Phipps on guitar and vocals, Lynwood Lunsford on banjo and vocals, Kyle Windbeck on upright bass, and Darren Beachley on dobro and vocals.

The ensemble vows to put its heart and soul into every song, working to recreate each tune from yesteryear as it was originally presented and performed.
