HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) – The city of Harrisonburg has reached the championship round the of the 10th Annual Strongest Town contest.
Voting is underway as the Friendly City takes on Marion, Ohio, in the finals.
KC Kettler, coordinator with Livable Harrisonburg, explains Harrisonburg has won the four rounds of the competition by shining a spotlight on the work it is doing to become a stronger, more resilient city.
“Harrisonburg is an innovative city that offers top notch services and amenities, which enrich the quality of life for the city’s diverse, culturally vibrant residents,” said KC Kettler, Coordinator of Livable Harrisonburg. “And while city officials are proud of what has been achieved, they remain committed to find new ways to elevate the community for everyone.”
People can cast their votes at strongesttown.com through noon on Thursday.
