AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — Augusta County officials announced Monday that county flags are lowered to Half-staff in memory of Mark Lotts, who was the Executive Director of Finance and Business for Augusta County Public Schools.

Lotts tragically passed away in an automobile accident last week and Board of Supervisors Chair Gerald Garber stated that his dedication and contributions to the county’s education system left a lasting impact, and this gesture honors his service to the community.

County flags were lowered Monday and will remain at half-staff until next Monday morning, March 10.
