ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) – The Rockingham County Courthouse, Clerk of Court Chaz W. Haywood will be hosting the 50th Annual Lincoln Day Ceremony on Wednesday, February 12th, Abraham Lincoln’s birthday.

According to their Facebook page, the event will be a summary of the President Lincoln’s connection and family relations in the area. The start of this tradition began with Judge John Paul and Phil Stone in 1976. The event was started to honor President Lincoln’s memory and his family in Rockingham.

The event will be held on February 12th at The Lincoln Homestead located at 4431 Lincoln Homestead Lane in Linville, VA.
