HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Democratic candidate for the Sixth District Congressional seat Beth Macy visited the Friendly City today to join the Rocktown Raging Grannies during their protest in downtown Harrisonburg.
The protest took place at 180 East Market Street near Sixth District Congressman Ben Cline’s office.

Macy said she’s gotten to learn more about the Harrisonburg community and is trying to get the James Madison University vote out because it’s very important.

“We’re really just throwing everything you can to try to get this race across the finish line to victory,” said Macy.
Beth Macy will be touring the whole district in the last 5 days leading up to the election starting this morning with the Virginia Military Institute and Washington Lee University before traveling to Harrisonburg. Macy will stop in Staunton before concluding the day.
Early voting is open until October 31 with Election Day on November 3.
