HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — It was a busy weekend in the valley for Republican candidates and Governor Glenn Youngkin.
A day after attending a rally in Salem for Presidential candidate Donald Trump, Sixth District Congressman Ben Cline held a prayer breakfast Sunday morning in Harrisonburg.
Youngkin and U.S. Senate candidate Hung Cao were in attendance as were over 20 pastors from Harrisonburg City, Rockingham County and Augusta County.
Cline is seeking another term in Congress, but he will have to fend off the challenge of Democrat Ken Mitchell as well as Independent Robby Wells.
Meanwhile, Cao is trying to upset incumbent Senator Tim Kaine in Tuesday’s election.
