WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now) — Waynesboro Police say the person they think was responsible for stealing credit cards last month and using them has been arrested.
Captain Benjamin Lemons reported that on July fifth, a victim told officers that their credit cards had been stolen and subsequently used at several businesses in the Staunton and Waynesboro areas.
Following an investigation, 20-year-old Marta Persinger of Churchville was identified as the suspect.
Lemons stated that she was located yesterday in another jurisdiction and successfully arrested on the outstanding Waynesboro warrants.
Persinger faces four charges, including two counts of felony credit theft.
