WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now) — It is 18 years in prison for the Waynesboro man who was arrested last month for sex crimes against a minor.

According to online records, Jeffrey Lee Argenbright reached a plea deal with prosecutors during a hearing yesterday, June 10, 2026, in Waynesboro Circuit Court.

The 53-year-old Argenbright pleaded guilty to carnal knowledge of a 13 to 14-year-old and received 10 years on that charge.

He also pleaded guilty to five counts of child sex solicitation and received a total of eight years on those charges.

Argenbright was arrested earlier this year following a six-month-long criminal investigation in the city’s southeast area.
