ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — Harrisonburg Public Utilities says they are currently addressing a water line break along Rawley Pike in Rockingham County.

Officials say a total of 27 customers in that area (between the addresses of 5304 and 6002 Rawley Pike) are currently without water, with estimated restoration taking place late this afternoon. Additionally, customers west of Hinton are currently experiencing reduced water pressure due to this work.

Harrisonburg Public Utilities says voluntary water conservation measures, such as waiting to water your garden or wash dishes or laundry, is encouraged until around 8 p.m. this evening for Hinton-area customers.
