SHENANDOAH COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — Two 19-year-olds from Edinburg were arrested after an investigation into a report of destruction of property.
Shenandoah County Sheriff Tim Carter says the Sheriff’s Office was dispatched on Monday, June 29 to a report of destruction of property near Headley Road in Maurertown.
Deputies conducted an investigation which led to multiple arrest warrants for the follow individuals.
The following warrants were obtained and served on 07/02/2026 on Hunter Bailey Hottle (19 years old, of Edinburg, VA):
18.2-137: Destruction of Property Over $1,000
18.2-121: Enter Property with Intent to Damage
33.2-802: Littering Private Property
The following warrants were obtained and served on 07/02/2026 on Wayne Allen Dodson (19 years old, of Edinburg, VA):

18.2-121: Enter Property with Intent to Damage
33.2-802: Littering Private Property
Sheriff Carter says both Hottle and Dodson were released on a $2,500 unsecured bond and that the investigations remain active, and additional information will be released as appropriate.
