GROTTOES, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Town of Grottoes reminds folks not to dump garbage, tires and other items in the Brush Site, where only brush and yard debris are allowed.

According to officials, Public Works and Town Management agreed to provide residents with unlimited access to the Brush Site as a convenience to the community. 

Town Management stated that it creates unnecessary work for their Public Works crew, “who already work hard every day to keep Grottoes running and looking its best.”

If the activity continues, the chain will go back up, and access will return to only two designated days per month.
