VERONA, VA (Rocktown Now) — The third former Nexus employee who was charged with stealing inheritance money has had his charges dropped.

According to online records, Timothy Shipe of Staunton had his two charges of exploitation and obtaining money by false pretense dismissed during a hearing yesterday morning in Augusta County Circuit Court.

Afterwards, Shipe said in a statement that the dismissal brings to an end a nearly five-year ordeal that has profoundly impacted his life.

Meanwhile, the other men charged, Michael Donovan and Richard Moore, were convicted last month on six charges each of embezzling over $400,000 from Zachary Cruz. They will be sentenced in January.
