ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Rockingham County School Board approved to follow Superintendent Dr. Larry Shifflett’s recommendation to declare a list of items as surplus property for online public auction.

Director of Maintenance Steve Reid said that the auctions are scheduled to begin on Thursday, September 17th and end on Sunday, September 20th, continuing weekly until all items are sold.

“I respectfully recommend that the Rockingham County School Board declare these items as surplus and authorize them for public auction,” said Reid.

Some of the items listed include classroom equipment and furniture.
