HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Rockingham Harrisonburg SPCA has seen a recent increase in demand for services, taking in 48 dogs and puppies over the past seven days alone. This surge places additional strain on shelter resources, particularly as young animals require specialized care.
To help care for this influx of puppies, the RHSPCA is asking for community support through its Amazon Wishlist, which includes critical supplies such as puppy food, formula, and enrichment items. Donations can be made directly through the organization’s online wishlist.
“Every donation helps us provide lifesaving care,” Huck Nawaz, Executive Director of the RHSPCA says. “This is a moment where our community can step up and make a real difference for vulnerable animals.”
