HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Friendly City Players invite audiences of all ages to experience the courtroom comedy The Trial of the Big Bad Wolf by Joseph Robinette, coming to Court Square Theater June 19–21, 2026.
According to a release, the show asks the question, what really happened between the Big Bad Wolf and the Three Little Pigs? Was the wolf truly a villain, or has he been misunderstood all along? In this fast-paced fairy tale courtroom comedy, familiar storybook characters take the witness stand as the audience becomes the jury.
Directed by J.P. Gulla, The Trial of the Big Bad Wolf brings together a cast of local performers for a “fun-filled theatrical event perfect for families, students, and anyone who enjoys classic fairy tales with a clever twist.”
