PAGE COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — It is 6 years in prison for a former member of the Page County Board of Supervisors.

Isaac Smelser was sentenced yesterday in Page County Circuit Court involving the exploitation of a 15-year-old child.

According to online records, he had pleaded guilty to four felony charges, including two counts of possession of child pornography.

A judge sentenced Smelser to 31 years in prison with 25 of those years suspended.

Smelser, who turned 44 on Monday, was arrested last November after authorities began investigating the case in June of 2024.
