HARRISONBURG VA: (WSVA) – Work on the Northend Greenway Extension will cause a traffic shift along Mount Clinton Pike in Harrisonburg when the project enters its next phase.

Public Works officials said this week that crews may begin installing gutters and curbing from Chicago Avenue to the vicinity of Park Road as soon as tomorrow. Depending on weather, those upgrades could be delayed until early next week.

The city says that although both lanes of traffic will be open, pedestrians and bicyclists are encouraged to find a different route around the site.

The work zone is expected to remain active for several more months.
