(UNDATED) – On the eve of the three-year anniversary of the January 6th riot at the Capitol, a national champion with the James Madison University football team as well as a 15-year veteran of U-S Capitol Police says he is running for Congress.
Harry Dunn, a 2005 J-M-U graduate, has announced that he is jumping into a crowded Democratic race for Maryland’s Third Congressional District.
Dunn said on MSNBC that his first priority will be to protect freedom.
Dunn, who retired from Capitol Police just last month, said he now wants to have a “voice at the table” with the lawmakers he spent a decade-and-a-half protecting.
