AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — A circuit judge denied bond Monday for former Nexus Services CEO Michael Donovan on an Augusta County charge of forcible sodomy of a child under age 13.

The charge was brought last week and dates back a decade.

The bond denial was not the biggest news of the hearing. The prosecution presented evidence and recorded interviews with at least four young men who alleged repeated sexual abuse by Donovan dating back several years.

Donovan is currently on trial with former Nexus Executive Vice President Richard Moore in Augusta County for embezzlement, obtaining money by false pretenses, exploitation of a vulnerable adult, and conspiracy charges tied to the other charges.

He was out on bond when the forcible sodomy charge was lodged last week.
