HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Harrisonburg Police are investigating an incident that happened in the parking lot of Sharp Shopper early Sunday morning that left one person in critical condition.

Officials say in the early morning hours of September 20, the Harrisonburg Police Department responded to the parking lot for reports of a disorderly conduct incident in progress. Upon arrival, officers located one victim bleeding from the head. He was transported to Sentara RMH and then to UVA Medical Center due to the extent of his injuries.

Police say this is still an active investigation, and detectives are working to identify the suspects and gather further information.
